We left our hotel at 8:00AM this morning because we just had what we thought was going to be 20 easy miles to Middleton. However, as we left Sauk City and bicycled several miles we ended up taking a right turn (in error) which took us back on some very hilly terrain before we got back onto Highway 12. We arrived in Middleton at the Marriott around 10:30 and got checked in and spent the rest of the day just enjoying visiting with all of our biking friends. Friday evening 18 of us walked over to Claddagh Irish Pub for dinner. What wonderful biking friends we have – we are always guaranteed a lot of laughs, some good stories, and just an all around great time. We figured out that this is our 10th Midwest Tandem Rally that we have gone to – there are 421 couples, representing 25 states plus Canada registered at this years rally so this should be a great time!
